  Sueca with a bidding auction and a called-card partner.

• Bisca

  The Portuguese duel for two — draw from the stock and win the tricks that count.

• King

  Six deals to dodge, four festas to win — every player for themselves.

• Sobe e Desce

  From 20 down to 0: take tricks, or sit the round out.

• Chess

  The classic duel: checkmate the king — with or without a clock.

• Checkers

  Portuguese checkers: flying kings, and you must take the most pieces.

• Dominoes

  2 to 4 players, each for themselves: lay your tiles, draw when you can’t, first to 100.
